I stayed at the Hampton while on a business trip, and it was a pleasure. It is conveniently located to local shops and the markets, and my stay was very comfortable and quiet, exactly what I need after working. I hope to return for a pleasure visit soon!

Everyone very helpful especially Brandon and Curtis. Both went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied. The hotel has a great location with the free trolley right next to it. As always, Hampton Inn didn't disappoint. Almost forgot, very nice courtyard and pool.

In general the Hampton Inn Charleston Historic District is great; superb location, good service, good value and clean/large rooms! Greeted with a smile at check-in. Had my Hilton Honors requested noted. Excellent size room with large bathroom. Very clean. Hotel Is across the street from the Charlotte museum is across the street also from the free trolley station that takes you to a number places in town and a great place to stay

This is an upscale Hampton Inn with charming lobby area and nicely furnished rooms that are very well maintained, but the location is the best part about this hotel. Located on the edge of the Historic District and across the street from the local tourist office, this hotel is perfectly placed for the visitor who wants to explore Charleston on foot. The Hampton is about a 15 minute walk to Market Street or there is a great free Trolly across the street (get the map with the trolly times at the front desk).
