Average hotel. Great view of bridge to Newport and bay. We used an RCI exchange and was a little surprised of the size of the room. A little on the small side, said it would hold four but would leave little room for anything but sleeping. The restaurant was not open so you had to go out for any meals.... More

Good hotel(not resort). Our suite was spacious. More variety needed on breakfast items. Probably would have more to offer during summer. Good location. The restaurant should be reopened and functional. Generally a beautiful place, tastefully decorated for the holidays.

To describe the Bay Voyage as a "resort" is something of a stretch. The interior looks tired and in desperate need of a coat of paint to say the least. In addtiion, the service during our stay was less than adequate. On the three days my wife and I were at the Inn, the "refresh" service was not provided on... More

We spent three nights here. Despite repeated requests our room was never cleaned. A hotel that takes full advantage of their monoply in Jamestown. Free breakfast did not even offer fruit or juice. The furnishings were dowdy and bed uncomfortable

Location is ideal for getting around to southern R.I. beaches and restaurants. Very gracious and helpful staff. Walk to quaint downtown Jamestown harbor. Not as congested as crowded Newport. Ferry to Newport or Rose Island. Units are small but service and location make up for it. Nice pool but not heated, no jacuzzi.

I stayed at the Wyndham during the week for business travel. The restaurant/ bar is only open Thursday, Friday & Saturday (not sure whether it is open on Sunday). Wyndham "checked the box" for having a fitness center but it is your typical basement three piece of equipment type of room. The room was spacious - suite style with a... More

We were very pleased with the Wyndham Bay Voyage Inn. After reading some of the reviews I was a little apprehensive about staying there. We had been upgraded to a superior unit upon arrival. The view from our private deck was spectacular. Make sure to request a room with a view. The Newport Bridge lit up at night especially with... More

About 8 years ago we stayed at Bay Voyage Inn when we attended a wedding in Jamestown. I had a positive memory of that weekend. This August we were invited to another wedding in a town about 20 minutes away. It happened to be the weekend of the Newport Jazz Festival as well. Imagine my surprise on check in to... More

Although the ads say the place was recently renovated, the decor was in sad need of an interior designer. The location was superb, and we loved Jamestown, but the industrial strength decor really needs some work. Because of the disappointing room in terms of the colors (dreary) and a lack of the extra touches that would make the room better... More

This is a very odd place, we arrived and were checked in very rapidly by a very nice young man named Peter. After this everything pretty much went down hill. The room itself wasn't anything special, a little dated and dingy, certainly not what we expected for the price. We attended an "Owners Cocktail Party" which turned out to be mostly... More

The Bay Voyage Inn is a small quaint resort with small units. They are all one bedroom units with a partial kitchen. It does host a cocktail party for all of the hotel guests and management from all 6 resorts in Rhode Island attend and speak with guests. We will take this review and will speak with all the staff...
