My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the William's Grant Inn. The rooms were charming and comfy, and the innkeepers, Diane and Warren, were incredibly friendly and very informative. The Inn is within walking distance of everything, including an array of cute shops and really terrific restaurants (we highly recommend Persimmon!). There's no need to venture out for breakfast though, as the food that Diane and Warren present is delicious! We awoke to hot apple pancakes, banana nut muffins, omelettes, fruit, juice, piping hot coffee and a huge selection of teas. There's plenty to do in Bristol; we especially enjoyed touring the Linden House and visiting Colt Park, but if R&R is what you desire, the Inn is a lovely place just to hang out. There's a cozy family room with games, a television, and after dinner drinks, and a fridge with as much water and soda as you want.
