This was a great place to stay! My friends and I were traveling down to MD and stayed here mid-way. It was a good stopping point, many resturants in walking distance. Staff was friendly and helpful. Area is a bit confusing to drive around in, but the hotel is great. I'd stay here again if I was in the area! More

Wilkes-Barre is not a very lively town but this hotel is located in one of the livelier parts. There is a TGIF that shares the same parking lot of the hotel, how is that for convenient? Our family of 3 stayed here for a weekend wedding. It was one of 3 hotels recommended on the wedding invitation. After reviewing all three here on Trip Advisor. We picked the Fairfeild. Room was very dusty. Front desk had very little hotel knowledge. What time is breakfast? I am not sure was the answer. Worstvpart was thatvit was very hard to sleep with all of the road traffic noise. Breakfast was skimpy and staff seemed inconvenienced by customers. Stay here if you must but do not expect much. Very difficult to find the entrance. Room was small, crowded with large furniture and very dusty. Very difficult to get around the King bed with such a small room.
