West Chester was a fantastic place to visit situated a mere 30 minutes from all the sites of Philadelphia. The original downtown area has narrow, cobblestone streets lined with quaint shops and delicious restaurants. What a difference! We also had a malfunctioning AC unit. Luckily, this morning, the wonderful staff understood our plight and relocated us to a new room. In general, when looking for hotels in or near West Chester, we found that they were quite expensive for what you got. This place is aweful. The people who work there are rude and clueless, the conference rooms are terrible, and they are constantly coming in to interrupt you during your meeting about stupid stuff! I think the last time it was updated was during the Reagan Administration, and the place smells! more
