We were quite happy for the size of the room for the low price. We were especially happy with the breakfast of scrambled eggs and saugage, plus many other options More

I stayed there for 3 nights in early December. The hotel was clean and safe, the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was up to the usual high standards of Comfort Suites, and everything that should have been clean and functional was. More

This was my first time at a Comfort Suites, and I was pleasantly surprised. We were able to get a room for $80 via AAA, though it was the Sunday night after a football game and we might have been the only travelers there. The property is just down the hill from the Penn State campus and within easy driving... More

Great place to stay. Located a few blocks from the Penn State campus, it makes for an easy walk to campus for meetings or just to see the sights. Needless to say, the rooms are well maintained, as is the pool. I always enjoy the complimentary breakfast particularly when sitting by the lobby fireplace on a cold Pennsylvania morning. But... I would highly recommend this hotel. It was very clean. The staff was knowledgable, friendly, and courteous. The free breakfast was better than most. It is a very convenient location if you are attending any of the sporting events on campus. Although they raise their prices for football weekend, as do all hotels in the area, it was still a... Great place to stay if your are visiting Penn State. Affordable and the staff is really friendly. Pet Friendly is why we stayed here and it was great that our college student could see ALL of the family when we visited. If you don't have a pet, don't worry; there was no barking or pet odors at the site. Ok,... More

Cleaner than expected and for the price I paid was a very good value. Not the newest or fanciest hotel, but decent. More

AN aging hotel with a tiny, poorly ventilated exercise room and rude staff. When I checked in, I was given a room next to an extremely loud ice machine (you could hear it from the floor below). I went back down to the front desk to request another room. The front desk clerk (Mary Jane) got huffy and told me... More

We've stayed here for $80 a night but that price doesn't seem to exist anymore. Rooms are nice but indoor pool is COLD. Hot tub ok. More

Friends and I were at the Comfort Suites in State College for a couple of days while we went golfing. Staff is incredible at this hotel. All four days we stayed it was well over 100 degrees. The staff put out free bottles of cold water for all guests to stay hydrated. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! That is what really did... More
