THE GOOD: Innkeeper Dini was gracious and warmly welcoming to this colorful Victorian B & B, as she had been on the phone when we called for reservations. Breakfast was tasty, varied and plentiful; coffee and a variety of teas were always available. Location is an easy walk to town, shopping and eating. Inn is charmingly decorated with Wedgwood decor,... more

While this was my first stay at the Wedgewood Inn, it was not my family's first, so it came with glowing recommendation. I know B&Bs too, so I am not rattled or put out by their vagaries - layout, plumbing, steep stairs, etc. My critique of this place really has to do with uneven customer service. It's a lovely house,... more

I loved our stay here. The gardens are so relaxing. We sat outside in the evenings, sipping hot chocolate and playing cards on their lovely back porch (we chose to have breakfast on the porch as well; it's a must because it overlooks their lovely gardens!) We stayed in the Umpleby House right next door. Our second floor room (the... more

My wife and I just returned from a stay at the Wedgwood Inn and it was quite disappointing. Knowing it was a B&B our expecations were kept in check but we have stayed at far nicer inns at a fraction of the price. The bedding was the worse part of the stay - pillows were thin and lumpy, scratchy sheets... more

We spent Valentine's weekend at the Wedgewood. The inn is two blocks from the center of town, an easy walk to Lamberton, NJ across the river, and 100 yards from a tow path on which one can walk for miles. The rooms are lovely, the food very good (especially nice high tea). What stood out though was the staff. They... more

We had a very nice overnight at the Wedgwood B&B, staying in the building called Wedgwood. Our room was on the ground floor, near the dining room. The room was very large and decorated nicely. The bathroom was tiny, but very clean. Breakfast was very good. We easily walked into town, which is a plus because it looks like parking... more

My granddaughter and I stayed for one night when I came out to see her at her boarding school in Newtown. She had never visited New Hope and wanted to do that. We arrived late because we were visiting relatives in New Jersey, but our room with twin beds was ready and waiting. The breakfast that they served was gourmet... more

I had to work over the real Valentine's Day, but i took my boyfriend here this past weekend. Searching online for a good location that offered a fireplace and a bathtub, and also offered wireless service, i picked the Wedgewood. We really enjoyed this historic inn. In discussing options with staff online, i narrowed down my selection to either theGardenview... more

All I can say it don't waste your money. This place is a total dump! We stayed in the Carriage House - I have no idea what the inside of the "inn" looks like but I can tell you if it is anything like the Carriage House - run!!! While the Innkeepers Carl and Nadine "try" to accommodate us when... more

Indeed, at 9 pm you informed us that the heater was not working properly. At 9:30 pm (30 minutes later) our Heating repairman arrived and repaired the connections. We supplied space heaters while the main heater re-started. Unfortuneatly you awoke to a broken heater again. Fortuneately we had left the space heaters there. Indeed, a lightening strike had damaged an...

We had a two day stay in very cold weather. We found the Inn and Keepers warm and welcoming. Although we booked a particular room, we were showed two others in case we liked them better, very thoughtful. The room was lovely, gas fireplace, jacuzzi tub, mints and cordials in the room at night. Dinie was very helpful suggesting venues... more
