From the understaffed check-in desk to the smell in the room, this dated, worn out hotel is below Hampton standards. The toilet tank in the bathroom was loose and clanking, the light on the ceiling entering the room was falling down, the bathroom was moldy, the bathroom door would not close. Other than that, it was fine. more

We were staying in Pittsburgh for Pittsburgh ComiCon, and this was on the list of hotels. I read comments that it wasn't that great especially because of the noise from the Turnpike. However, we had very few complaints, and would stay here again. Our room was on the front side of the building, so noise didn't seem to be a... more

We stayed here one night on our way to another destination. Its just your average mid priced hotel. We'd have no problem staying here again. Note that there is a lot of traffic in the area. more

With the road construction into Pgh., the front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful in giving directions to avoid the congestion. The coffee served was some of the best we've had in the US or European hotels. The breakfast was fine, and I saw many taking it to their room. When we got home, we found a belt had... more

We stayed here while our son played in the US Highschool Rugby National Championships. It was very, very clean- always my first concern!. Nice duvet covers, no gross comforters. Good housekeeping, fast attention to extra sheet requests, coffee in room. Breakfast in the morning very decent. Common areas nice to meet and bring our own wine in evening to socialize.... more

We stayed one night on our way to Williamsburg, VA. We were on the 7th floor and it still was not quiet. The area is a very conjested area, lots of traffic! Could hear the people in the next room when trying to sleep! Will say the room was clean and the bed comfortable, but probably would not stay there... more

The staff was very rude. We had a group of about 50 children there for a weekend sporting event. They closed the pool and then complained about the children getting unruly. Suprisingly the pool reopened when our group checked out. I complained to Hampton Inn Corporate online and never received any response. They were made aware of the number of... more

We stayed in Monroeville on our way home after visiting family for Thanksgiving. The hotel was packed with two groups of teenagers and their accompanying families (who had no concept of what it means to supervise children). However, the hotel staff put us on a floor away from all the kids and we had no issues. We were missing the... more
