We recently stayed at the Inn and had a great time. Our room was fantastic, and very well kept. We had a nice walk through the Inn to take a look at the other rooms (those that were unoccupied), and were impressed with all. Dinner in Byron's Dining Room was superb - the beef filets were excellent. Breakfast on Saturday... More

We have stayed here several times and have always enjoyed ourselves. Jim &Lisa (the owners) go out of their way to make sure everything is first class (even selling me his shoes when I forgot mine for a black tie affair... :-) ). The restaurant is five stars. We also enjoy the weekend cooking classes. Fun, food and wine, what... More

The best-ever weekend my wife & I spent together. Surprisingly, the restaurant offers first-class food at an incredibly affordable price. For example, the couple we were staying with decided to dine off-site. We went to a place in Hagerstown MD (not too far) and spent $230 for the four of us for decent and decidely not spectacular food. The next... More

The Inn is beautiful and furnished to make it inviting and romantic. The halibut with tarragon was amazing. The Innkeepers are excellent hosts and are very accommodating. You must experience the Mercersburg Inn with your love!!! Beautiful golf course and ski resort just 15 minutes away!!!

My husband and I happened upon this inn by chance. We were looking for lodging while on the road driving towards Harrisburg, PA from Monticello, VA. When we realized that we would not make it to Harrisburg, we started calling B&B's along the way. The innkeeper was very accommodating in helping us select a room and arranging for our late... More

After an 8 hour drive with 4 more to go, I decided my husband (whom had been away for 6 months) needed a break and used an app on our phone to locate somewhere to stay within a 30 mile radius. I am not one for boring old side of the highway hotels so I always look for something a... More

We stayed there for a school visit. The location can't be beat as it is across the street from the school. It happened to be a frigid couple of days, and we were very comfortable inside. There are a couple of main floor lounges where you can imbibe by a fireplace or enjoy a nice, cushy chair and read or... More

My husband and I recently attended a cooking class at the Mercersburg Inn. We had a wonderful time!!! The owners, Jim and Lisa McCoy, were so warm and attentive. They made us feel right at home. The Inn is quite lovely and well appointed. The grounds are very well kept, filled with little seating areas that allow you to find... More

Wonderfully stately yet cosy Inn, really takes you back to a different era. Beautiful winding staircase, stained-glass windows, carved wood furnishings, yet wonderfully intimate rooms, with georgeous views and gardens all around. Owners are extremely gracious and helpful. Breakfast could use some improving, though. Drip was the only type of coffee available, and the supply of fresh fruit was extremely... More

My husband and I were traveling through the area and happened to find Mercersburg Inn. The inn keepers were gracious and helpful. The house was amazing! If you enjoy old world elegance with current luxuries like a comfy bed in a beautifully done room, this is the spot. From the wide veranda to the plate licking meal we found it... More
