Despite the fact that this former Howard Johnson received a fairly nice remodel to become a Comfort Inn, I have trouble recommending it to anyone other than pet owners. We stayed at the Mercer Comfort Inn twice...going to and coming back from Myrtle Beach. It's a clean, quiet hotel.
