We have been going away on on annual holiday weekend with another couple for 14 years, each time to a different holiday location. So, after much searching for the perfect accommodations we booked The Cornerstone Inn's 2 bedroom poolside private cottage for the weekend of December 4th and 5th way back in MAY 2009!! I spoke with the innkeeper several... more

We stayed at the Cornerstone Inn at the end of June and had a lovely time. The Inn is very nice, clean and well presented. Our room was excellent and very comfortable. The pictures on the inn's website really do not do justice to how nice this inn really is! The breakfast was good and the staff were very attentive.... more

We visited Cornerstone for an impromptu weekend, and because we wanted to visit the Paradocx Winery in Landenberg, I chose Cornerstone. When we arrived, we discovered that the owners were away, and they put their friend, Kathy, in charge of the place for a few days. Kathy was friendly and helpful, and she fixed some delicious breakfasts in the morning.... more

My wife and I spent a fantastic weekend at Cornerstone Inn. We felt like part of the family within minutes of our arrival. Maryann and Glenn treated us like best friends. Our room was charming with a see through fireplace facing the jacuzzi on the bath side. The beautiful 19th century handcarved four poster bed made us feel like royalty. Breakfast... more

We just got back from our weekend at the Cornerstone. The house was beautiful and the room was beautiful and very cozy - loved the fireplace! However, the service was below our expectation - perhaps because we stayed in the winter and they weren't full, but they were hardly ever there. They didn't make up the rooms each day, and... more

We spent two nights at this gorgeous B&B while visiting friends and family in the area. What a treat! Definitely recommend the third floor Room 8 with jacuzzi and double-sided fireplace in b/t bedroom and bathroom. Staff was friendly and helpful. Recommend visiting and tasting at the local wineries (Kreutz Creek was our favorite - family o&o, they make and... more

We stayed at the inn the previous Spring and returned again for an evening after a local wedding. The room was beautifully decorated and had many comfy spots for reading and relaxing. The owners have taken great care in all the details, from the furnishings to linens as well as the fresh flowers in the room. We enjoyed a delicious... more

We stayed at the Cornerstone Bed and Breakfast for our "baby moon". We could not have loved the house more, it was very cozy and comfortable, just like being at home. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. We will absolutely go back to spend more weekends away in this home away from home. more

The Cornerstone is charming but has some flaws. When I arrived at around 6 p.m., I rang the doorbell a couple of times and then just let myself in. I didn't see a note for arriving guests so I wandered around the first floor. The common areas are quite nice and the little ponds are pleasant. But where was Andrew?... more

We spent July 1 and 2 at the Cornerstone Bed and Breakfast. The drive to the B&B is beautiful and the house (circa 1704) is impressive! The innkeeper, Andrew, is new as of May, and although he has a degree in hotel and restaurant management, and is in culinary school, his hospitality could have been better. We planned our stay... more
