A beautiful, well appointed and clean room, ruined by an extremely rude owner. Sadly he does not know how to engage with guests. We were offended because we were treated as if we were not welcome, and yet we were paying guests.

Beautuful location, great room, easy access to all amenities and wonderful hosts and Barb and Laurie! If you stay in the illawarra and want a truely hospitable experience and not pay the earth got to pelican's rest! Try some paddle boarding while you are there - teh beach is literally 2 seconds away! excellent stay!

We stayed at Pelicans Rest for one night before flying out of Sydney back to Canada. Our room was very clean and comfortable. It included a small efficiency kitchen but we opted to walk a short walk into town for our meals. We would recommend this accommodation very highly.

just by chance i was filcking through google and found this perfect gem. A beautiful location, 5 mins walk to the center of town via the beach with a Teppenyarki restaurant worth paying for. Accommadation was Tranquil, lovely setting, very comfortable sleep and the owners were so hospitable. Will be there in the future for sure.
