We stay here often as it is very central and close to the marina and shops. The rooms are always clean and I find them to be spacious. The staff is very freidnly and are more then happy to try and accomodate your needs. The only down fall is the wifi hasn't worked for us when we have stayed there.

Had another excellent quick break at Nelson Resort with girlfriends. We booked the spacious 3 bedroom apartment and had plenty of lounging space and bathrooms for 4 of us. A great location and very well appointed Hotel. Walking distance to all amenities, Pub, Club Cafes etc. Highly Recommended for couples families and business.I would stay here again without hesitation.

The Nelson Resort is a nice hotel and just 3 minutes away from the Nelson Bay beach. The rooms where tidy and big enough. For people who just use the hotel room to sleep and spend their days outdoor this is a perfect option! Only thing I missed whas the free wifi option.
