I cant believe some of the reviews on here as this is one of our favourite camp sites. 28 acres of grass camping, children collecting fallen fir cones to light the the evening fire. A 5 minute walk to Tallows beach through beautiful wetlands. All down to the clean camp kitchen for brekky. Sling your hammock up between the trees... More

We stayed in the suffolk 2 bedroom cabin over the australia day long weekend. It was clean, linen was provided, everything you need was in there. Close to the beach and short drive to town. Camp kitchen for campers has everything you need and is clean. The man I talked to when booking and checking in had a 'i'm busy,... More

It was NYE and it seemed to be the last place available in Byron and now I know why. Our unpowered campsite backed onto bushland which was littered with beer bottles and other rubbish. Sites were around 4 car-spaces in size held up to 8-10 people! Bathrooms were old and very dirty. Toilets constantly ran out of paper. The pool... More

We have been camping all the way up the east coast of Australia and I am afraid to say Beaches of Byron was the worst camp site we stayed at. The powered camp lot we were given was small compared to others, we had our guide ropes out of our lot on both sides as there wasn't enough room The... More

This is the first review I've ever written on here - I was so unimpressed with Beaches of Byron that I felt I should warn others off. Call me old-fashioned, but I thought that a business needed permission to charge a customers credit card and I thought that having paid for your accommodation in full secured your booking so that... We stayed on an unpowered site for two nights in the long weekend. I was unsure about going as I had read previous reviews, however I was willing to try it out for ourselves. On arrival staff were friendly and accommodating, unpowered sites are grassy and nice and level. Shower and toilet block were always clean and little vases of... More

Worst camping ever!!!! the showers were old and dirty, staff were rude and snappy. This place was full of noisy teenagers looking to party. They have a careless attitude towards keeping this camp site relaxed and quiet. We have stayed at most camp sites in Byron and this place has to be the worst of them all. Do yourself a... More

We stayed one night on a powered site ($40 off-peak for 2 and a campervan), and we had to pay $1 to use the electric BBQ (with a timer) in the camp kitchen (even the public bbq are free, wake up !). Washing machine are $5, the most expensive I found in Australia. Amenities were not clean at all, very... More

The worst camping ever! We booked for Easter weekend as some of the 4 families we went with had bluesfest tickets, the site had tree roots and gravel on it. We asked for another site, but the one they offered us was away from the rest of the group. But the site we asked for opposite our friends was never filled.... More
