Didn't stay here - just wanted some subsistence (Beetroot & Feta Cheese Soup - fantastic!) and a couple of pints after a walk around pretty Charlestown. Friendly staff and well stocked range of local ales and ciders. Free street parking right outside. More

Stayed at the Rashleigh Arms on the 17th December for 1 night. Room was small, bed was comfortable, en suite was small. Breakfast was very good, staff very friendly. Would only stay for 1 or 2 nights. More

We had been here before a few years ago and had a pleasant time apart from the party and very loud Led Zeppelin type live band that they didn't warn us about when we booked, but which we eventually decided to join in with and had a good time! I checked this time and we had a wonderful , peaceful... More

Six of us visited this pub for dinner during our stay in St Austell recently - it was recommended by the staff at the hotel we stayed in. Charlestown was very quaint and this pub was a real gem! The staff and service were excellent on what was a very busy Friday evening, and the choice of food was fantastic... More

Very good, high quality food which is all locally sourced. There is a good choice of locally caught fish, sea-food, meats and veggie options with some innovative ideas. The staff are very friendly and flexible as, for instance, we wanted whitebait as a starter but as a sharing platter between a few of us as opposed to just a starter.... More

We have eaten here several times,as we live nearby and it is consistently very good. Prices are fair and the food is good pub fayre without being gastro in any way. Good range of beers from St Austell brewery and often a guest ale from elsewhere. Friendly, efficient staff who do well in a very busy environment especially on a Sat... More

I have had two meals here. The second one was complimentary as the first meal was so poor. It didn't improve the second visit either. I would suggest you look carefully at the ingredients which are, according to the Menu, in the dish. On both my visits some ingredients were missing. For example a dish containing walnut and pear you... More

Felt I had to write a reveiw as the last one on trip advisor was last year. We stayed for one Saturday night in March 2011. Loved Charlestown itself and the Rashliegh Arms didn't disappoint. As said in a previous reveiw as soon as you check in you are asked if you require fresh milk, nice touch. All the staff... More

My wife and I stayed at The Rashleigh over the easter weekend for four nights. Before I say anything else I have to say I am slightly biased. My family is from St Austell and all my childhood holidays were spent in Cornwall. If you have been to this pub many years ago it has changed quite a bit as... More
