We visited the Jamacia Inn years back when it was run properly. The present owners now run the place totally geared up for cheap tour parties who on arrival queue up canteen fashion for bland food and appalling service.To add insult to injury you are then guided thru a overpriced Gift shop full of tatty imported rubbish on your way... more

Stayed at Jamaica Inn on Bodmin Moor for on night on July 31. It was fantastic! I'd just finished reading the novel and it set the scene well -- even the bleak weather seemed somehow fitting.
