Was impressed from moment of greeting at door by Jane and felt warm and welcoming towards me and my Fiancee Sarah. Room was fantastic and lots of space to store our clothes. Ensuite bathroom was comfortable. Breakfast was a good breakfast and hotel was clean and friendly. Met Jim at breakfast and very bubbly and friendly. Was made extra special... More

This is an extemely clean and welcoming guest house with very friendly and helpful hosts. It is very near to bus station, beach etc. Would highly recommend this to couples as it was me and my husband that visited but we are going to book again and take our 11 and 13 year old and will write another review after... Stayed here for 5 days and wished it could have been longer. Friendly hosts and were made to feel at home the moment we walked in the door. Top marks for cleanliness which is lacking in quite a few places we have stayed in Brid in the past. Brekkie was the tops, fresh fruit salad most days and everything served... More

We received a lovely welcome on our arrival on the Friday. We were shown to our rooms ( and offered help with luggage) which had everything we needed, all spotlessly clean and a light airy nicely decorated bedroom. We hadn't ordered an evening meal and Jane and Jim were very helpful and gave us information about the local restaurants from... More

Exceptional value for money. Balmoral is kept to a very high standard of cleanliness and décor in keeping with the property. The owners Jane and Jim were very friendly, but not at all overbearing, with exceptional local knowledge they were happy to share. There was a good variety of food and drinks for breakfast which was cooked to perfection, accommodating... More

We visit Bridlington about twice a year and have tried quite a few guest houses but this is by far the best one yet. Spotlessly clean everywhere and even though the room we had was not that big it had everything we needed. The bed linen was beautiful and the towels soft and fluffy. Breakfast was lovely , served piping... More
