Stayed here for 2 nights in April 2011as we were visiting the Mill At Sonning Dinner Theatre.Really enjoyed the stay.Nice room,good breakfast,good price as we obtained a special deal because we booked theatre tickets.It's in a lovely spot overlooking the River Thames.Would have no hesitation in stopping here again in the future. A poor experience - anonymous room with furniture that appeared to have shrunk, so it no longer filled the space; two near empty pillows; blankets not duvets; early morning grass cutting outside the window; a maze challenge to find breakfast, badly tuned tv. On my blacklist which is a pity as the Mill was great. More

Decent enough hotel in a lovely village. The rooms are pretty standard (if not in the main building, get one in the new out house and NOT in the old one) and offer good value for money. Great area for some after dinner walks. Full english breakfast ok but not special, did not take the plunge to have dinner there. More
