The friendly welcome on arrival here almost gets warmer every time. The staff are excellent - professional and friendly - from the moment you arrive to the second you leave. Dreadful from start to finish. Service awful. Rooms sparce. Very like a travellodge but not so good and twice the price not even a hairdryer. Breakfast poor with little choice and no service. Rooms were dirty with cobwebs everywhere. I was looking forward to a nice weekend away but was very disappointed. Would never go again. more
Thank you for taking the time to write a review on here. I am sorry that your experience here seems to have been a negative one. We do offer a varied choice of Breakfast, with both Full English and Continental on offer. There is full waitress service also, I am therefore a little unsure as to what "no service" meant....
We went to The Granary for a weekend stay our room was ok, it smelt slightly musty, the Hotel has no bar, You have to go into the lounge and have waiter service, it was abit like sitting in a waiting room (No atmosphere) The food was exellent . Myself and my husband attended a Wedding here in July and stayed over, it was perfect for both us as guests and the Wedding couple themselves. Fantastic restaurant, what a choice of menu couldn't decide from the choice. Well presented food when it arrived at the table. Couldn't ask for any better service from the staff on the night. more
