Stayed here for the bank holiday weekend and had arranged a group with 19 tents and fire pits. Everyone had a really good time and both Jo and Will were really friendly and helpful but I would say there were things that were not as good as we hoped. There were a number of large groups that weekend and the... More

We came for a weekend, just to get away out in the country. The location of the site is perfect, it is remote enough for an ideal escape of all the hustle and bustle of town life, yet it is close enough to transport links such as the main road and bus services if you need to get anywhere else.... We stayed at this campsite for 4 weeks while visiting family. It was really convenient, and the pitches were well laid out and very tidy. Surrounding plantings are excellent, also and the site is open with nice countryside views. Bobby the horse is great company and enjoys a carrot and a chat. William the owner is the same, except for... More

Being a group of about 12 people aged around 21, you can imagine how hard it is to find a campsite that will accept us, even though we are not trouble makers. we had absolutly no complaints, william was great, even allowed open fires!! had no problems with us being there! would definatly recomend and are going back again this... We have today returned from this delightful site. After a tough year with family illness and lots of stress, we needed to get away for just a short while. I found this site on the web and as we love Salisbury and it's only an hour's drive, booked the three night special offer without expecting too much at the very... More

We have camped with William at Sonehenge Campsite for the past two years now and having tried another local site, found this one to be the best!!!! The site has developed into a lovely place with level pitching areas, nicely landscaped areas, suitable amenities and best of all, a very very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. I would heartily reccomend this... More

As a group of 4 caravans, and a 4x4 Off Road Club, we found this campsite the perfect location to explore the byways on Salisbury Plain. The owner of the site, William, made us so welcome and served as a great 'tour adviser' for our visit. This was a last minute booking and we were able to get our pitches... More

We visited this campsite as a group of 10! We had a great time. Loved the relaxedness of the site, there were proper toilets and a shower, albeit 5 star hotel standard it was more than adequate. Firewood was provided for our fire pit and we were also given use of some skewers for our marshmallows! Would visit here again. More

What a great find this site was. I was looking to catch up with 9 friends (mid 20s) from all over the place so we decided to meet up in Wiltshire to camp. Having been camping since a baby, I know how anti-group a lot of sites are, so was searching for a group-friendly place. This site services both groups... More
