My wife and I travelled to Nature Inn @ Bald Eagle SP for our wedding anniversary. It was a short 2.5 hour drive from our home and we planned three days/nights total. The inn was very easy to find and we were checked in to our "basic suite" very quickly. The rooms were not the typical rustic, lodge-type decor but... More

We only stayed one night, but really enjoyed it. The rooms are in perfect condition, and I liked that all the materials were natural. Very comfy bed! They do have refrigerator and microwave. I especially liked getting a room with a balcony overlooking the lake. They provide binoculars, and there is a fancy telescope that you can use to watch... More

We just got back from a 2 nights stay here with a group of friends and we all had a wonderful time. The Inn is right in Bald Eagle State Park with beautiful views of the grounds and lake. The rooms are very comfortable. We had a suite which had a separate bedroom and a living room with a kitchenette.It... More

We stopped at this wonderful State Park Inn on our way to Pittsburgh for an overnight. Our room was a "small suite" which included a bedroom, living room, kitchen, and a balcony overlooking the river. The kitchen has a sink, microwave, toaster oven, and dorm sized fridge. My advice to you is to bring your own food and beverages since... More

We come here every March for our anniversary getaway. I have to tell you that these accommodations are the nicest we have ever stayed at. Extremely clean. Comfy. Awesome surroundings. Environmentally friendly. Staff is awesome. There are so many great things to say about The Nature Inn. I encourage you to go and see for yourself!

This place is amazing! From the friendly staff, to the excellent meals, to the views from inside and outside, it is truly first class. There is even a Children's Discovery Zone that is stocked with books and things. We hope to make a return trip.

This was my first visit to the Nature Inn. The building is just beautiful, with native wood framing, flooring and furniture. It’s certified "green", too, but comfort is not compromised. My room faced the lake and was spacious and spotless. The balcony would be great during warmer months. Rooms have binoculars and a field guide to borrow while staying. There’s... More

We have stayed here a couple times and I loved it so much I asked for a gift card to stay there again for my Christmas present! We have experienced great service, food and rooms. We also enjoyed the fire pit after an interesting lecture that was complimentary held on-site. As soon as you drive on property, there just seems... More

We stumbled upon this gem on a visit to Bald Eagle State Park. It's the BEST B & B we've ever been to including some in New England. It's nestled away in the woods so it's very peaceful and quiet as well as surrounded with all the beauty and fun that nature can provide! Breakfast is amazing and the staff... More
