We were looking for a place to stay in town near Grove City College, and choices are few indeed. The Snow Goose is in a great location, across the street from "lower campus". The owner, Mrs. McMillan, was pleasant and courteous. She serves a delicious hot breakfast, although not for the voracious appetite. Large, friendly poodle on site, but, unlike the other inn, no cats; important for our family with allergies.
Our room was acceptable, queen and single bed, private bath, but small. The place was clearly worn. B&B books from the 90s on the shelves, a collection of Santa Clauses and dolls. Only TV in the lounge. The rooms were cluttered, the floor creaks, and the carpet needed a vacuum. Still, we were safe, comfortable, and all that we needed was provided.
Grove City is not a tourist spot. A block from the Snow Goose are 3 or four restaurants on the main street, a few other shops. But with the only chain hotels 10 miles away at the 79 interchange...
