We stayed in "The Study" one night on our way to California down Highway 101 after not being satisfied with the other motel choices in the area. My wife and I stopped in for our third stay at See Vue, staying this time in the Crows Nest, my favorite room yet (compared to the Princess and Pea, Study). The See Vue Motel looked like (and was) a great place to visit, with funky themed rooms and a quiet location. Unfortunately they have chosen to have new "cabins" built that spoil the view and don't fit with the original theme of this place. We were pleased to find the See Vue still on operation on a recent coastal crawl. It is a quirky old motel-ish gem currently undergoing redevelopment so not all rooms have the full ocean view of yesteryear.
