The Andrea B&B is beautiful! It's about 5 miles from downtown Salem in a quiet residential area. The house is a semi-circle with a view of trees out of every window.

We aren't B&B people so this review will reflect that. Sometimes, B&B's are like staying in small inns or hotels. Other times, it's like staying in someone's home. Staying at the Andrea is definitely a personal experience and you are staying in Renate's home. You will get to know this exceptional woman well by the time you leave.

We rented the upstairs Master Bedroom and we didn't realize that the bathroom is not adjoining and is possibly shared with the downstairs renters (fortunately, no one rented the downstairs bedroom). There is a stairway right outside the Master Bedroom to the kitchen. This means that to get to the bathroom, you can be seen from the kitchen.
