Arrived at 5pm for a week-long getaway. Checkin was at 4pm, but our room wasn't ready until after 6p. It was a disappointing start for our getaway. My husband and I stayed here and were treated so badly. We scrimp and save to occasionally take a fun trip to the beach so we were very disappointed. Find another hotel with a staff who smiles when they greet their guests because Rockaway is a great little town. more
Rockaway Beach is like taking a step back into the 1950's. It is a quiet little town full of friendly residents, interesting shops and great little restaurants. We come here regularly and always have a good experience. Of course, Rockaway has the best "beach" in Oregon and the resort is right on the sand with easy access. All rooms have a deck with chairs.
