This is a great combination of the old style hotels - one of the oldest in Portland we've been told, and an great modern upgrade. Our room was very spacious, great shower, and very comfortable. The location is fantastic, its walking distance from the rail and surrounded by restaurants.

We had a wonderful stay. They were very nice, let us check in a bit early, the hotel is lovely and they are so good with pets. We will stay there again. The food trucks nearby was handy for us while we went shopping. Overall a great experience.

Mark Spencer is a fine hotel, very well located and a fairly smart choice in value for the money, A good breakfast, coffee juices, bagels, cereal and fruit provided in the morning. Close to many good restaurants its a great place to stay when in Portland and a night out on the town. I will be back.
