the rooms were ok and the location was ok but I guess according to trip advisors the price was wrong!! Misunderstood the part where it said $89 per room instead of the $39-$59 like tripadvisors said. The name had even changed!! So be aware of what your getting into! P.S. Oh and btw the rooms have very thin walls if... More

I have stayed at Washington Park for several years-it was always worn, but cheap. Last year it got a major makeover, and while rooms are still basic, they are much more pleasant than before. Rates are a little higher, but this is still an excellent deal for the frugal traveler who wants to be in a quiet, pleasant area, close... More

This place is not bad for a night or two. However, my husband and I stayed here for five nights and found that by the end of our stay we were definitely ready to leave. The good: Awesome rates (we paid about $50 a night), great location, no bugs or mice, relatively clean. The bad: cable didn't work, bed was... More

The Washington Park Inn is a real mixed bag. We stayed there last year in a "city-side" room-with-a-view and, as a committed value shopper when it comes to lodging, were quite happy. Hmmm...this year not so happy. We reserved way too late so settled on a smoking room (for the same $50 as last year's good room.) Apparently smokers don't... More

The pros and cons of my stay have already been given in the previous reviews. There are definately more pros than cons. The only thing I found a con was the smell of the carpet. The air con worked well in the room I stayed in (loud but hey at least we were cool). We weren't in much - there... More

After reading previous reviews of the Washington Park Inn, I must say I was a little apprehensive about staying there. Here are the pros and cons I found during my 3-night stay there in July 2008: Pros were numerous. Nice safe & scenic neighborhood, within close walking distance to great shopping and restaurants on NW 23rd and NW 21st. We... More

The location is perfect, near NW 21stAve with a lot of restaurants and near downtown. We had a double room on the second floor (with the city view). If it's a sunny day the room could be too hot,. The air conditioning doesn't work really well, we had to open the window to refresh the room (I think that works... More

The location is perfect and parking is included. The room was very basic, but is totally functional for a PDX crash pad for a weekend or whatevs. I am pretty laid back about crappy motel rooms - as long as there is hot water, clean sheets, and a door that locks, I'm cool. But, if you are a fancy-schmancy person,... More

My wife and I are far from picky travelers. In fact we seek out the older mom and pop motels, and much prefer them, warts and all, over the chain places. Washington Park Inn was probably constructed in the 60's. As others have mentioned, the location is great. We stayed on the upper floor in the back, and had a... More

This hotel is in a great location but that is about all it has going for it. I will say things were fairly clean but it was a real dive. Our floor had a small hole in an area where the floor was rotting, the curtains were stained and it smelt very musty. For 50 dollars a night its a... More
