What a lovely house! Each room is beautiful, and the innkeepers are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very tasty, and the innkeepers were accommodating of my business schedule. The neighborhood is terrific, with good walking/jogging streets and an interesting selection of restaurants very nearby. Convenient to Max light rail station. more

We live in almost right down the block from the Lion and the Rose. We gave our house to my sister's family who were in from Rochester, NY to celebrate my daughter's wedding. The accomodations were wonderful and comforting, and sitting down to scrumptous breakfasts with other guests and Steve added to the whole experience. more

Best organized B&B I have every experienced. Every need was anticipated and addressed to perfection including a video orientation to Portland, personal maps to every area of the city, a gourmet breakfast each day or a breakfast to go if needed, a well stocked bedroom and bath, etc. more
