The ranch is located on a great stretch of the Rogue where steelies and trout run. The facilities and trails are well-maintained, very safe, and accessible- especially for the price. Rick and Carol are very hospitable and accommodating- whether it was a guided hike, quick tour of the creeks, or friendly 'good morning," they immediately made us feel at home.... More

The Doubletree Ranch is an off the beaten path gem. It's quiet cozy cabins (fully furnished) overlook a huge beautiful meadow and the Rogue River. Dogs are welcome, and the walking paths are lined with blackberries. My family had a wonderful time and we will be going back every summer. Bring your kids, your dog, your raft and your fishing... This was our second stay at Double Tree Ranch. We have now stayed in both of the 2 bedroom cabins. Both are great. Just enough rustic with lots of amenities and charm. The place is great to bring kids to. There is lots of land to explore and a couple really nice beaches to swim in, in the warmer months.... More

We discovered this gem in 2006, extending our length of stay each summer since and adding weekend visits during the fall. This summer we spent several weeks enjoying the trails, river, sandy beaches and views. Here we find the time and space to relax, read books, fish, reconnect with family/ friends and discover new things. The cabins are amply furnished,... More

We spent our days walking the trails down to the Rogue river, picking ripe blackberries along the way. We conversed with the horses, watched deer (or... More
