I have driven through Medford dozens of times over the last 20 years and I've stayed at this Red Lion for many of them skipping a year here and there. (Staying in Ashland is more fun in the winter.) This is the cleanest room I have had in a long time. The beds were comfortable. The room size was average with a big bathroom. The check in was easy with the friendly clerk. Definetly using this hotel again. More

We arrived in the evening. I did not feel safe, as the surrounding area didn't seem to be a good part of town. There was no elevator, which is okay if you have a small suitcase to carry. According to Locals the surrounding area is not so good, and the Hotel was old i didn't like the room , the setup, and the fact that it is little creepy at night. i had to move after the second night and go to better place. More

The room was large, with a table & 4 chairs, and a huge balcony with a river view & 2 chairs on the balcony. Very nice, clean quiet room, close to shopping. More

The Red Lion on Riverside Avenue in Medford is a great motel to stay if you are looking for a clean, tidy, with great staff location. I thought the pool was nice. It's a good location if you're looking to go out downtown and the breakfast was awesome. Our needs were met and they were very catering to our dog. More

Room entrances outdoor. Our bed was terrible. It needed to be replaced. I mentioned it to the lady at the front desk but it didn't get changed. The staff was just OK. Not very friendly like a lot of hotels. The buffet breakfast was the same every morning. More
