We stayed in the Innkeeper room. Of course, I do have to say you get what you pay for. The rate on the room was excellent for the off season. However, we could hear the entire conversation ALL night of the couple staying next door to us. The room was A LOT smaller than what it appeared to be online.... More

This was our first time to stay and we all loved it! The room that we selected was on the East side called the Gathering Place. It was a great place with lots of living room. More

We stayed in Lincoln City in August 2011. It was a very quiet week with few other visitors at the Hotel. Which made our stay even nicer. There was no air conditioning in the room. So when we came home from a day at the beach the room was stuffy. By opening a window over the range and leaving the... More

This was our second trip to the Whistling Winds Motel. We had the "Gamblers Cottage", the same one we had last time. I guess the Universe decided we should stay in the same one we got last time which was fine by me. The panels of woodwork in this place makes me feel very cozy and warm. It's nice to... More

Thank you Trip Advisor reviews for pointing out the Whistling Winds to me. What a great place to stay. Completely remodeled, very clean, and reasonably proced. A pleasant and short walk to the beach and located on a quiet street. The managers are very nice and helpful...a perfect spot to stay on the coast. More

I actually was reluctant to do this review as I want to keep Whistling Winds a secret so I can always get my favorite room! This place is unassuming from the road but the rooms are all redone is fun themes and don't have that stale beach smell. The rooms are fresh, service is great, and it is 1-2 blocks... More

I was traveling up from Southern Cali. to see a friends band play over at the casino, when I read the reviews of the rooms I became leery, I'm a professional photographer and when they told me they didn't have wifi, I began my search for alternate accommodations. I came across Whistling Winds Motel, I read the reviews and YES!... More

Our room was clean and comfortable with a coffee pot and real coffee. Movies and cable tv are available, but we never stayed in the room that long. We straightened up after ourselves, but had only to ask Tom and requests were answered. It is a short walk to a beautiful, clean beach. The price was right and the motel... More
