The Stage Lodge was a comfortable motel-type accommodation with friendly service. Our room was spacious, and included a small refrigerator. The only negative was the lack of a coffee maker, but coffee was available in the office. The continental breakfast was meager, packaged sweet rolls and juice. There are several good breakfast spots within walking distance. We especially liked being able to walk around this historic downtown (although you are at least 1/4 mile from downtown), the cemetery, and the residental streets. The staff gave us directions to a wonderful picnic spot up the Applegate River that we would never have found on our own. I would definitely stay here again.
