We stayed 2 nights at the Jacksonville Inn while touring historic Jacksonville, OR. They are terribly historic and terribly charming, and they are dog friendly. The Inn restaurant is one of the best in town and they throw in a full breakfast. It's not cheap, but it is worth the splurge.

We stayed two nights in one of the rooms in the inn itself, and it had the feel of a historic inn but with all the modern conveniences. The complimentary breakfast includes anything on the menu, and the waiter, Micah, was just perfect, remembering our preferences from the previous morning and just giving excellent service.
