My husband and I travel with our two small dogs whenever possible. They are good travelers and polite guests, but many places we have stayed charge pet fees that seem unreasonable, and act like this is a big favor. The Red Lion gave us treat bags when we checked in, waived their fee because I joined their club-free-and we had... more

We stayed for eight (8) days while our son was trying out for the Eugene Generals Junior Hockey team. The hotel is older but the room was remodeled and very clean. Within walking distance of a grocery store, restaurants and a mall. Very close to downtown. The pool was very well maintained and clean. Very nice place when it's hot... more

We stayed here for 1 night... and that was long enough. We reserved this blindly through priceline which is the only reason why we stayed here, but definately isn't a 3 star hotel. The hotel also said that we were only guaranteed one queen bed through priceline and made us pay a fee to get a second bed. Overall -... more

I stayed in this hotel the night before and after my trip to Asia. I parked my car here and paid $20 for 3 weeks. It was snowing during my first stay. I highly recommend this hotel because the staff are very friendly and accommodating. I didn't try the restaurant because there are plenty of restaurants close to this hotel.... more

I stayed in Room #171 of this hotel in August 2009. I was very disappointed in the quality of the hotel and restaurant and feel that it misrepresented itself as a higher quality hotel that it is. I booked a room through Expedia that was billed as a “Two Queen with View” room. The beds sure seemed more like double... more

After I had booked a room for a four day stay with my family and read the reviews I was a little nervous. But after we arrived and checked in I was wondering what all the complaints were about. The lobby was clean and nicely decorated, the room was very tasteful, clean and well appointed and everything worked terrific ( coffee... more

The room was OK. This is a two story establishment with no elevator. If your room is located on the second floor you must carry your luggage up about 15+ stairs. Not easy if the luggage is heavy. The outside looked depressing. They were doing some construction, perhaps renovating the courtyard, outside our room. They had one ice machine for... more

I couldn't tell if this hotel was a poorly remodeled Motel 6 or a tired old Red Lion waiting for the wrecking ball. No complaints about the room itself other than we could hear every noise around us. The spa needed a good cleaning, and the courtyard had all the charm of a communist-era tenement. Definitely not worth the $130... more

The outside of the Hotel is in serious need of an upgrade and paint job. WEll bascially the inside of the rooms are nice and must have been remodeled but the outside almost scares you away on how old it looks. The Rooms were nicely appointed, the only complaint is we had a glass cup that had a chip in... more

I was booked into the Red Lion for a business meeting. From the outside it looks like a refurbished Motel 6 and unfortunately it smells like one as well. This is not a hotel. It is an old roadside motel on a busy highway. It is not easily accessible by foot to the main city of Eugene. All rooms open... more
