Here's a quick way of thinking about this establishment - it's good enough considering what your choices are in Coos Bay - very basic. The owner's are new and try hard but are still learning the business. That's okay but plan to do your own research! For those looking for a sophisticated dinner, I'd highly recommend Porta in North Bend.... More

This B&B offers everything--great gourmet breakfasts, friendly staff, dogs welcome at no extra charge, an absolutely stunning en-suite room, lovely common areas, a quiet neighborhood, travel information--what more could you ask! The Victorian Room is your best choice, but other rooms are very nice as well, although the carpeting in some bedrooms needs attention. But the grandeur of the house... More

The new owners are sincere and try hard to please. It is obvious that they are attempting to upgrade this B & B as a labor of love. Our room was large, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and the features of this historic home charming. More

The new owners took over 4 days before we arrived. They tried to be helpful, but the place just doesn't make it. Our room did not give the appearance of being clean and there were holes in the sheets! I hope they can clean it up because they seem like nice people. Problem is that running a B&B is not... More

We went down to see Shore Acres Park Christmas lights and wanted to find a place to stay. We wanted to take our 2 westies with us. I searched on the internet for a bed and breakfast and came up with this one. They had a discount for December and it really fit our budget. The place is very close... More

No breakfast ...in fact not even coffee in the morning. you are on your own. We made our own coffee and Felicia never showed up to make breakfast. never saw "John." Felicia was no where to be seen in the morning for breakfast. she totally abandoned the whole bed and breakfast which was full. We let ourselves out in the... More

The house was magnificant. The decor was beautiful. It was very quiet and the breakfast was delicious. Great Belgium Waffles and great Blackberries with bananas. John is a wonderful artist. Makes you feel right at home. Felicia is a good cook. they accomodated my husband and I was grateful for that. He is a picky eater. We felt right at... More

Not knowing exactly where we wanted to stay in Coos Bay, we came across The Coos Bay Manor while performing an Internet search during lunch. What attracted us most about their advertising was how accommodating they were and they did not let us down a bit. The hosts are genuine and warm. We felt welcome the moment we arrived. The... More

The owner, Felicia's generous hospitality was a true delight. The tasty breakfasts, Coos Bay Manor's old world charm, and John's (Co-owner) water color artwork were very much appreciated. More
