we enjoy ourselves everytime the train is a little loud, thats why we stay in the cabin great for the kids better than staying in a cramped hotel room

We got married and reserved a block of campsites and cabins. We wanted to stay here after the reception since we were getting married in Stevenson. I called the campground in March and set up blocking off tent sites and cabins with the agreement that if they were not paid/reserved by private members of our wedding party by May 1st... More

We visited this KOA over the Labor Day weekend holiday. When we arrived, KOA staff advised that we would need to travel 1-2 miles if we wanted to get to any walking trails or site seeing/excursions. The campground itself has no access to the river, streams or waterfalls. The RV sites were so close together that our picnic table was... More

I have to admit my wife I were very concerned before arriving because of the reviews complaining about the trains. My wife is a very light sleeper and we had our 21 month old daughter with us. 1st impression as we drove thru the gate was WOW what a beautiful campsite with tons of trees. We stayed in cabin #11... Just spent the worst night ever here - whilst the campsite itself is OK, it's location means you won't sleep a wink. It is adjacent to a railroad on which the largest, loudest goods trains travel all day and all night. Having heard them when we arrived at the site we assumed that they would stop during the night. Instead... More

Don't waste your time or money here. The entire campground is built a stones throw from rail road tracks that get use hourly if not more often. Perhaps the constant whistles are starting to take a toll on the staff who are rude and disorganized. Most campers stay no more than one night, even on the weekends. Do yourself a... More

The train tracks are 30-40 feet from many of the camp sites. On both ends of the KOA, there is a road that crosses the train tracks so the trains have to blow their whistle at both ends of the campground ... and the trains come every 35-45 minutes, all day long and all night long. We got no sleep... More

The campsites are right next to each other with nothing in between. This is anything but relaxing. Carol from the office is extremely rude. The 10pm quiet time is not respected nor enforced. There is a train right next to the campsite, and it blows the whistle every 10 minutes. I was very disappointed, we will not be returning.

Unfortunately, we won't be coming back to this KOA. I won't name names, but instead of helping us with a small request (involving returning payment for 1 out of 4 nights stay) one of the managers refused to provide any assistance. If you like this place, fine, but we didn't appreciate the "too bad, so sad" attitude.
