Very nice and $reasonable getaway outside of Burns near outdoor activities such as Malheur Bird Refuge, Steens Mountain Loop. Got up early to soak in the 102 degree outdoor pool (included in price of lodging) and watch the beautiful sunrise while the coyotes howled in the distance. Sparse lodging (4 cabinettes - room w/a bed) but clean and warm (heated... More

If you are coming here, it is for the hot springs. Crystal Crane is about 25 miles from Burns and store and restaurants. The tiny town of Crane is about 2 miles and there is one pump gas and a diner. The 5 cabins are small, and pretty run down. The chair in ours was so dirty and torn I... More

We stopped at Crystal Crane Hot Springs for 1 night on our road trip from the Oregon Coast to Yellowstone. This place is absolutely wonderful. The owner/manager was very friendly and helpful. The campground is very clean. The tent sites are grassy and rather spacious. The highlights of course are the hot springs. Our visit was late summer when nights... More

Spent one night while trekking back home across Oregon. We were in a little camper. Be aware that the RV sites have the least view, are just in a parking lot, but knowing that ahead of time by looking at pictures online prepared us. The tent sites have beautiful views from a field. The hot springs were wonderful. Staff very... More

A friend a I were in the area for a bit of birding. We called ahead on the day of our arrival and we were able to secure a cabin with two beds. We had to use the shower and toilets in the bath house. The cabin was very small and could have used a table and chairs and something... More

We have been to hot springs in many states and Crystal Crane was one of our best experiences. The proprietor couldn't have been nicer and the private tub room cleaner. They did it right. Charming The tub is a concrete oval large enough for two adults to stretch out facing each other or even a small family. You control the... More

Though it is a bit off the beaten path (which i really like), it is well worth the drive! About 30 mins from Burns, Oregon it offers camping and cabins - there is also a common camp kitchen availabel for everyone, and a common tv/ computer area in the lounge. Camping is inexpensive, but a bit exposed. The Hot Springs... More

I called Crystal Cane to place a reservation for later that day. I spoke with the manager and she said they had rooms available - she would take my name and pencil it in for a room. Luckily, I called an hour prior to my arrival and was told "we have no rooms" and slammed the phone down. This was... More

We require a credit card number to secure a reservation. When someone calls and does not provide a credit card number, I tell them that I will gladly 'pencil them in'', as the reviewer indicated. However, I always let them know that the reservation is *not* confirmed, and that if another customer calls or drives in, I will have to... More

Just returned from 10 days of birding in Eastern Oregon. It was a fantastic trip except for our night at Crane Hot Springs. The pump was broken in the hotsprings and the owner was unwilling to make ANY sort of amends. It felt as though the owner didn't care if we were disappointed. Two days later we stayed at Hotel... My partner and I recently camped at Crystal Springs. I have nothing bad to say about it. Our experience was great. Camping is inexpensive, there are indoor kitchen facilities to use and a comfortable lounge to hang out in with tv and wi-fi and tables, showers and bathrooms were clean and Bridgette, (I hope I got her name right) was...
