We enjoyed our stay at the "MIll Inn." The self-check-in felt a little wierd, but we liked the privacy it afforded. Our room was nice, with a great private bathroom. The water pressure in the shower was amazing. The head board did bang against the wall with the slightest movement on the bed. This was a bit awkward for accommodations... More

Two friends and I stayed in the backpackers' rooms for a couple of nights. I've stayed in a lot of hostels, and have to say that the value for money here was pretty unbeatable. For $30 we had a bunk bed and a free full service breakfast each morning between 7-9am. The backpackers' room was quite small, but came with... More

This is an eclectic place, a little unusual. We were there during a cold snowy spell, and found it very comfortable, a just cozy! As stated above the breakfasts are awesome, and David, the proprietor is great. Service was excellent. Would definitely stay there again.

Went here on my birthday. Had to call to get a door code and they left the keys on the bed in our room for us to take. There is no face to face check in but somehow they make it work. I liked the laid back way they handle things. I dont like too much up in my buisness... More

As indicated in other comments, the best thing about this B&B is the great breakfasts. They're among the best we've ever had at a B & B. The location is also very convenient ... in between the Mill District/River and Downtown. You can walk to either place and walk to about 6 brewpubs easily. The owner was a very gracious... More

After looking at the website we were expecting unusual, but what we weren't expecting was a very dirty kitchen. We went into the kitchen (it says you can ) looking for the hot water tap by the sink what we saw upset us so much we decided not to risk eating breakfast there. It was such a pity because previous... More

We stayed for one night in June 2012 and were simply blown away but just how lovely the innkeeper was. Not only did he cook the most amazing breakfast, he also insisted we take lots of it away for a picknick later that day. We hadn't come across anyone so service-oriented, flexible and friendly in a long while. Having told... More

I've stayed here twice. There is no staff, really. You're kind of on your own, which I really like. It's a B and B, so you can get to know the other guests, if you like. The breakfast is great, but what really put's the whole experience over the top are the home made Belgian waffles. The service is a... More

This was an odd little place. It is centrally located but there was not very good communication. If we hadn't run into the gal who cleans the rooms, we would not have gotten in at all. There was a door code, and she is the one who gave it to us. The breakfast was really very good, and the room... More

My wife and I spent one night in the "Historic Cottage." We had the expectation that it was located on the property, but found out (once there) that it was actually located five blocks away in what would be generously described as a "marginal" neighborhood. We expected a Victorian or Craftsman style bungalow, but were met with a T1-11 sided... More
