I do not play golf, but my husband does. He had a great time here and so did I. Very nice room, good restaurants, and nice walks/hikes for the non-golfers....Of course, a fabulous experience for the golfers...he loved it but said it was HARD. I would not want to stay a week here, but a very nice interlude before a... More

Visited BDGR in August of 2011 and couldn't have been happier with the experience. Having done ample research, I knew that the focus at this gem on the Oregon coast would be primarily golf but I was pleasantly surprised with the accomodations. For serious golfers, the cabins are absolutely adequate and I didn't find the beds uncomfortable, as some have... More

Its isolation is hardly a weakness. You come to Bandon to get away...from everything except golf, friends and good food. Even the weather reminds you of Scotland. They've created a golf immersion experience you will never forget. I'm an 18-handicap player and enjoy it as well as friends who are much better. Every course has its appeal. They are among... More

We were on our way to Gold Beach for my birthday and we decided to stop and play golf. It was late in the day so we decided just to stay in Bandon for the night. We stayed in Crome Lake. It was so very nice. The firplace was nice to take away the cold January night. It was clean... More

We spend 4 days 3 nights and played 4 1/2 rounds + 9 hole par 3 Shorty course. The experience was unparalleled! Words just cannot do it any justice. Make no mistake about it. This is a GOLF ONLY resort and caters exclusively to golfers. We live in Portland so just drove down 4.5 hours. No bad. There are some... More

We have stayed and played at Bandon twice in the last 3 years. The golf experience is unparalleled and the lodging experience is excellent. Both the Inn and the Lodge are simple, uncomplicated and perfect for the surroundings. The service is outstanding, from the front desk on down to housekeeping. Everyone is dedicated to making your stay as comfortable as... More

Spent 5 days, 4 nights here last week. Rented Chrome Lake loft - 2 BR, despite only travelling as a couple. Lots of space for us to spread out (and dry out) in the loft. Might try the lodge next time just to see how it comapres, but no complaints. The clientele was 99% men, but women are made to... More

I just returned from a wonderful 4-day visit to Bandon, with a group of golfers from my club in North Carolina. Overall experience was fabulous. Our group included golfers with handicaps ranging from scratch to 19. we all loved the golf, with the consensus favorites definitely being Pacific Dunes and Bandon Dunes, with "Trails" and "Old MacDonald" following in that... The staff is one of the most "ridged" inattentive we have ever encountered. We paid at the high end of their rooms and carried our own luggage to the room! We couldn't find a "bellman". The front desk needed "prodding" to go through what rooms they had available. When we finally arrived at our room we found it to be... More
