We primarily stay at Hamptons.....this is an older one, the first time we stayed here, we were put by the exterior door at the end of the hall, it was very noisy, we asked for a room change....the staff was exceptionally nice and helpful.....there are a few maintenance housekeeping problems, though.....when we checked in today, the thermostat knob was missing...

I travel a lot and stay at a lot of hotels. I stay at this Hampton Inn for 2-3 nights at least once a year when in Norman visiting family. The last visit was last week (July 2011.) I'm surprised to find any bad reviews as I always find this hotel to be a good value for what I need....

We frequently stay at Hampton Inns, but this one was smaller and less comfortable than most we have stayed in. The room was a bit smaller and the beds were only doubles instead of queens. I have stayed at this hotel 6 times in the past month. The staff is some of the friendliest I have encountered. The hotel most likely is an original build but clean. Our stay at this property was very adequate. Although the property is not the newest, it was in good condition. The staff was top notch; however, the breakfast was a bit below par for Hampton Inn.
