“Great staff, good rooms, terrible guests”

The staff at this resort are all very friendly and service was very quick for getting extra items. Check in was very long but the desk staff were very friendly even though some guests were not very friendly to them. We had a King Lodge suite which was very nice and the kitchen was very well equipped for our stay.... More

From the minute I drove up to to the minute I drove off you feel like you are the only guest at the resort. Food was very good, water park was clean, resort was very well maintained. Try to avoid a holiday weekend as the water park can be a bit crowded. More

What a great place to stay! Excellent service. Plenty of places to eat. Clean rooms. Fun waterpark. Great for families. I was here for a conference... The conference center is beautiful. I'd come back with my family without a doubt! More

We were not able to check in by 4:00. I was rudely told there is no guarantee when we can get into our room and that check-in does not start until 4:00. They said the best we can do is to have us call every now and then on the black phones to see if our room is available. The... More

Our family of five (Ages 43, 35, 12, 10, and 1 year) had our 5th Kalahari visit this week. Everything went extremely smooth and the staff is exceptional. This was our 5th time at the resort.We went for 2 nights.Our daughter got to take her friend & they had so much fun.All the staff was wonderful (especially Katherine @ check in!The arcade is HUGE!!!Our room had full kitchen,dining room,living room,fireplace,patio & private bedroom.It was very nice & very clean.I would highly recommend this as a great place to... This is our families third trip to Kalahari! We attended with a large convention of homeschoolers We loved the experience. Our daughter,13, 2012 enjoyed the slides, the wave pool.
