I stayed here for business, but I would recommend it for pleasure, and family trips as well. The staff was very nice. The hotel was clean and I felt secure and comfortable. There are many restaurants and shops close by. The morning breakfast buffet was very nicely done and had lots to choose from.

First time staying at the Holiday Inn Express Perrysburg. First off, the location is excellent. It's right next to I-75 and US-23. Downtown Perrysburg is a few miles to the northwest, Toledo is about ten miles north, and Detroit is about an hour north. Many restaurants and stores near the hotel.
On arrival, the front desk staff was very helpful....

The nicest Holiday Inn Express we've ever stayed in. Very nicely decorated lobby, with Christmas lights everywhere. Lovely breakfast area, very homey! Immaculate! Also very convenient to the Ohio Turnpike ... easy off, easy on.

The hotel room was clean and comfortable. A very good location right off the freeway. All the popular stores you can think of down the street (Wal-Mart, Target, Meijer, Kroger,etc.) Front desk was nice and the fastest check in/out I ever experience! The only thing was the continental breakfast wasn't good to me and they don't have a few channels...

Overall, this hotel is okay. It is fairly clean and the breakfast is good. However, it is not worth the $$$. This HI Express is located just off of I-75 and clearly seems to exist as a suburban roadside stop type property. Gas stations and general family style or sports bar restaurants nearby to accommodate the road tripper.
Service was reasonable. Quick and efficient check-in, and hotel offered guests bottles of water and cookies at check-in, which was a nice touch....

Hotel was in a good location. Lots of other things around it. Had a french quarter theme which was cool. Rooms were clean. Pools were clean. Didn't have that chlorine smell. Had a little trouble with the room key but managed ok.

Rooms were very clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very substantial. We definitely will choose this hotel again for another visit.
