The Merit Inn is a wonderful newly renovated family owned hotel. With a very friendly staff, clean rooms and facility made my stay from home a truly wonderful experience. Room was crappy, found body hair in the bed. Price was good. Within walking distance. Title of this review says it all.

Nice location right downtown Mansfield. Small rooms, nice operator, but very noisy including fights in the parking lot late at night. They have permanent or weeklong guests and it is rougher around the edges than we normally choose. We had our bikes and were there for the B&O Richland County trail.
