This is a great hotel in a fantastic location. The hotel faces Coles Bay and the scenery is simply breathtaking. There is a patio outside every room. I was having my morning coffee on the patio when two wallabies came up and started feeding on the grass. I don't think you can top that experience. The location is also great... More

Get a beachfront studio. Even though they are in a block - because of their clever design you'd never know anybody else was there - except the wallabies. More

My wife and I went on a driving holiday round Tassy and returned to Edge of the Bay after 7 year absence. Nothing has changed which is good and bad! Location is stunning.. Do make sure you get a room at the front for the view. Rooms are minimalist but fine. Biggest bug bare was the mini bar fridge was... More

My partner and l stayed at 'Edge of the Bay' for three days in December last year. We stayed in a suite & the bay view from the suite was magnificent. The suite felt private & it was quiet & we heard the bird life and even saw a few wallabies. The suite was modern, very clean & had everything... More

We booked a 2 bedroom cabin (there are also hotel type rooms which looked much newer) which was comfortable rather than chic but had great views from the deck, master bedroom and living area. They do not have disabled units but my very recently broken ankle and wheelchair coped although I could not have a shower. We had 2 evening... More

Good points: - The location of our room was beautiful with a great view across the bay which was stunning. - The food in the restaurant was pretty good, and the setting is again beautiful, if you time it right you do get a very good sunset in the right weather. Bad points: - the actual rooms themselves are really... More

We booked this place online based on the strengths of other reviews, so we had some idea what to expect when we arrived. We had traveled all day, and had booked the evening paddle adventure (which was good I might add) however, as we would not be returning to the hotel until later we asked if we could make a... More

We stayed in a cottage which was very clean but old and tired looking and probably over priced. Ate at the restaurant which was ok but also over priced. Customer service was very poor. Unfriendly and unhelpful. Wont be returning. More

Booked via WatIf and got a nice price. Lovely room, not front row but still a very impressive view across Oyster Bay to the Hazards. Comfy bed easy for 'friends' to sleep in. Nice modern bathroom. Also ate dinner in the restaurant because the view is to die for. Food would be a 13.5/20 in Sydney but hey the prices... More

Our stay was ok but did not inspire. The service was regional at best. Coles bay however is a wonderful place to visit and worth seeing. More
