Whilst working in Burnie for a month I stayed in Wellers for two nights, thankfully this was only whilst my regular haunt was booked out. I stayed downstairs at the front of the hotel where it seems that all the travelling miners and tradies seemed to congregate throughout the night drinking, this did not make for a good night sleep.... Very nice rooms with new queens size bed, had best night sleep ever!! Great location and good proximity for a morning walk. Nice and clean and quick check in. Very clean affordable accommodation, breath taking views of Bass Strait walk only a few minutes to the CBD with plenty of restaurants to choose from. I stayed in the spa suite and could unwind and relax in comfort and style in the newly renovated room, very impressive suite.
