If you are looking for a decent hotel in Sutton or somewhere nearby, this is a great place for you. Maybe, somebody would say it is not a good value for money, but comparing to other hotel prices in this area, this hotel is the cheapest one. The staff were really friendly and helpful, they even let my friend stay... More

Being to this B&B as it seems to be the nearest accommodation to my course area. Not very impressed, small old room, old TV from 19th century, Family (owners) appeared friendly though the landlord can charge you even for giving you directions,,be careful..Will not recommend..not value for money..

I booked a room three weeks ahead of my trip. First weird thing, they write me an email asking to carry cash because they don't accept credit cards. What? Even in the most awful hotels in developing countries they accept credit cards. When I landed and phoned them to tell them I was arriving late, and what do they tell... More

Key to be collected from corner shop. Inedible breakfast. Got the feeling we were just a number!

Arrived Sunday and was greeted by a note saying to go to the shop up the road for the key. Not a good start. Rooms aren't terrible but cramped and very old fashioned. The duvet does not even cover the bed. The bathroom has large areas of mould on the ceiling and the window which if openable might prevent this... More

The Smallest breakfast ever. 1/4 of a fried tomato.1 fried egg. spoonful of baked beans, and one uncooked inedible hash brown. Smallest boxy room ever. DIY type wiring and plumbing. Clean bathroom. Although it was mainly nice and clean, the carpet could do with cleaning or changing, and the walls need to be cleaned of black smudges. Very friendly family. Not... More

Couldn't get anywhere else that night so we had no choice. They wanted to be paid in cash despite advertising that they took all major credit cards. The room was dated, grimy and hot. There was a pathetic (dirty) little fan which was totally inadequate. The whole place needed a major renovation. The bathroom was grim! shower was awful and... More

Making the most of it on a weekend away, I booked my family into the Ashling Tara Hotel. On first appearance the place looked ok on entering the hotel.. We paid £75 on a rrival for a family room and full english breakfast. The room would certainly have been seen as modern back in 1970. The beds were comfy but... More
