The Pride of the Valley went all the way to make our wedding day absolutely perfect. We have nothing but praise for the staff for every aspect of the occasion from dinner on Friday night, canapés and dinner on the day, the disco and the magnificent cheese board. All our guests said it was faultless - with a number adding... More

We held our wedding reception at the Pride of the Valley Hotel at the end of May and we really could not have chosen a better venue. What drew us to the hotel was the high quality of their food and the fact that our family and friends could take over the whole place. We were not disappointed as the... More

hotel had come with personal recommendations but was unable to live up to them. the room we were given was below another room probably used by staff who were noisy both late at night and in the morning. Breakfast was poor with cereals and juices but no fruit or yogurts and the cooked breakfast was spartan with only one rasher... More

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of October, a Monday and Tuesday night. We had walked the Devils Punchbowl during the day and arrived tired and hungry! The check in was fast, polite and efficient. Our room was lovely and very clean. Hubby was worried as it looked like we just had 1 square roo, but with... More

I have stayed twice at this hotel and it is a very romantic get away. The rooms are individually decorated and are quite unique. Service is a little slow but the quality of food in the restaurant and breakfast more than makes up for it. Overall a nice place to stay. More

Stayed for one night on business. Feeling of total isolation, Wifi wouldn't work on my computer, both my mobiles on O2 and T-mobile didn't have a signal. On the plus side, the bathroom in my room was great, the food was good and I paid a low price £49 bed & breakfast. More

My husband and I stayed here on the night of our wedding reception as a treat. We also paid for my brother in-law and his partner to stay. We arrived back from the party at about 2am to find that our part of the hotel had no electricity! Myself and my husband had not been to the hotel before hand... More

A nice looking building from the outside, inside there was a nice rustic bar, even though it wasn't overly full, the girl on reception was extremely busy and checking in took longer than expected. The rooms were pleasant, clean and reasonably well appointed, I was quite confused with the image they were trying to create as I found the decor... More

We were moving back to Uk and wanted a nice country pub with a good restaurant close to our new house. We booked for 2 nights, two rooms for two adults and two teenagers. We had a long journey but were confident after reading a few reviews that we were heading for a great destination where we could relax before... More
