My Fiance and I stayed at the hotel as we are due to me married there later this year, and we weren't disappointed. I booked the hotel as a surprise, and we had a lovely relaxing stay, it's a shame we couldn't have stayed longer. We checked-in early on Sat evening, and were given a standard double. I have to... more

Took a two night break here to dispel winter blues. Room was a feature room and though in the rafters it had all we needed except that the "fully stocked mini bar" was empty except for note to use room service. Main problem they have is that there is a dearth of guest lounge space to enjoy a drink ,read... more

We stayed as a package for NYE, arriving about 2ish and checking in immediately. We were in the newer part of the hotel at the back that has a corridor that seems to go on forever. This is quite a large hotel although deceptive from the front. Beautiful setting, lovely grounds and entrance hall especially when decorated for Christmas. We... more

My husbnad and I stayed here as part of a dinner, bed and breakfast offer. We got the impression from the website that this was a rural location but it wasn't - it was in the middle of a suburban housing estate. The building is very beautiful and the rooms are nice. Our room had a lovely sitting area, nice... more

My partner and I have stayed at several Macdonald hotels and have always really enjoyed our visits. Our stay at Frimley Hall was a little disappointing compared to our stays at their other two hotels near Windsor (Berystede Hotel and Savill Court Hotel). The room was reasonable and breakfast was fabulous... the spa was somewhat disappointing. Upon checking in, we... more

The spa was not what I would describe as a "spa"... there was no jacuzzi, the sauna was out of order, the pool was cold and not exactly in nice surroundings.... the treatments however were nice but not brilliant - have had much better. Bit of a waste of money to be honest... go elsewhere if you want a nice... more

On arrival were given a room with a window that would not close overlooking the ktichen extractor fans. Moved to another room which was satisfactory. Resturant excellent if included in package, food and service could not be faulted. Wine very expensive!. Spa OK and quite relaxing. Unforunatly floorboards above us in room creaked and we were waken at several times... more

After eventually finding the hotel, which is actually at the end of a cul de sac housing estate! I wasn't too impressed. Whilst checking in, I asked more questions about the hotel as the receptionist was not very forthcoming in describing, meal times, access to the spa etc which i always took as a certaintity when checking in. The rooms... more

They cheekily added a service charge onto everything including bringing a damn tray of breakfast to our room, which was the worst fry up i've had, the dinner before was presented nice but tasted like tesco's hot chicken. This was included with the room, but they still added charges for wine which should have been INCLUDED! to prove this I... more

Enjoyed our stay. The room had good up to date decor. Breakfast was great. We had a package with lunch which was excellent. The spa was very quiet and my partner enjoyed a good head massage. There's a lack of a jacuzzi and so the spa is essentially a swimming pool and steam room. But it was clean. We had... more
