We stayed for 2 nights in April as we had a day planned at Drayton Manor Theme park (35 mins away). I'd read the reviews on here and was worried however I needn't have been. The car park was about 1/4 full so there were plenty of spaces. We were on the ground floor at the back facing the duck... More

Had a great, clean & friendly stay in Rugeley - thanks to everyone who works at the Travelodge. My wife & I like to stay in Travelodges - it's a cheap night away from the kids and it restores our sanity. When looking for the location of this hotel, I had the misfortune to read some of the reviews. Then,... More

Booked this as it was cheap and it was only for 1 night, however, as previous reviews say, it is pot luck as to whether you get a good Travelodge or not. I booked a family room for 3 adults and 1 child. On check in, the lady at the reception, who was very polite and helpful, said the system... More

I have learnt two things stopping in Travelodges. The first is that it is pot luck whether or not you get a good one and the second is that the staff on reception are always courteous and efficient. Again, that last statement was true for this place. Indeed it was the only redeeming feature. I had a week here with... More

Stayed here, for two nights, in December. It is walking distance (two minutes) to the shopping centre and restaurants. Which is nice after a long drive. Morrisons and Aldi about five minutes walk away, so easy to cater for if you have a family. The room and bathroom were spotless, bedding and towels were good and changed daily. Staff were... More

Stayed over for one night - one adult and 2 teenagers in family room. Adequate sleeping for this purpose - pull out bed would suit up to about 5'5" person. Enough bedding left out for all beds which was a bonus. Good long desk with good lighting (great for homework!) and big enough room for us all. Everything worked fine.... More

Ive been to this Travelodge on many occasions and on every occasion there has been a complaint which i gave up on taking further. Although the staff are friendly, there simply arent enough of them to do their job to a good standard. As highlighted in many of the comments on here the general cleanliness was discusting. Dangerously broken tiles... More

I booked for a group to stay at this Travdlodge and we all thought it was great value. It has a very pleasant outlook at the back and it is within very easy walking distance of the town centre and the Weatherspoons Restaurant where we had an evening meal and breakfast the next morning. The rooms were spotless and the... More

Could not sleep due to noisy, repetitive plumbing gurgles and clatters every 60 seconds. When I went to the front desk to ask for a room change the receptionist said this: 'Oh yes, we know about that. It's been like that for months; it's a fault in one of the rooms above. Travelodge won't do anything to fix it'. So... More
