We often visit this area as we have family here. Staff were friendly & helpful. Our room was spacious but smelt, it was clear someone had been smoking in the bathroom as the smell was very strong. I mentioned it to reception and it was played down & even laughed at which I found surprising. Someone looked for air freshener,... More

The hotel is on a busy main road with a slightly limited car park but has additional parking opposite. Once inside though the welcome is friendly and the staff very helpful. We stayed with a 7 month old baby and we're delighted with the travel cot provided. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The restaurant attached was cosy... More

It was our first stand in UK and caused us big troubles. We were there for the business trip and spent 3 nights. We paid ahead for 2 rooms for 3 nights and for 1 more room for the last night (because one guy was snoring). In fact no one gave us a key and he didn't stay alone there.... More

We stayed here for 2 nights for my niece's wedding and to be honest having stayed at a Premier Inn in Frome in June we were a little concerned. We need not have been. This hotel was spotless the staff were fantastic (a special thankyou to Sarah on reception) and the food in the adjoining pub was very tasty, We... More

We had a family room to the rear of the hotel (which slept 4 in a double and 2 single beds), the room was spacious and very clean. The hotel staff were brilliant, we saw several receptionists over the course of the weekend and they were all really friendly, polite and very efficient, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast (served... More

By the time you arrive, it really is too late to start looking for a hotel that has moderately heated rooms. Receptionist dissed the promise given on the booking site - this is a Grade 2 listed building so it is warm. Breakfast is great if you like black toast ! staff do not know how to adjust the DIY... Stayed for one night in an excellent room at the back. The receptionist upon arrival was excellent in her manner and professional attitude. The room was very clean and well presented. There is a printed notice in each room which points out that there is a problem with TV reception since digital change over but if you leave the set... More

We opted to pay a little more for premier inn rather than travel lodge as they are usually a little better but was very surprised at this premier inn, looks nothing like what you expect, it's joined onto a pub which is a listed building. The problem was the heat, outside the temperature was very cold but inside was like... More
